Rock Bottom currently has
a steady gig with the Charlotte Chapter Concerned Bikers Association's
Spring and Fall "Bike Show and Swapmeet" held at the Metrolina Expo as well
as the "Rick Nails June Jam" and "October Jam" held at the Rowan County
Fairgrounds. In addition, Rock Bottom performs for various biker events and
nightclubs.
Rock Bottom is a must see
live band!
Equipment List:
Scott's stage setup
consists of a '91 Gibson Les Paul Standard, '78 Les Paul 25/50 Anniversary
Custom and an '84 Fender Stratocaster
with a Dimarzio Super Distortion pick up. All are powered by a pair
of old Marshall JCM800 single channel halfstacks modified with EL34 power
tubes. The only effects Scott uses are a Morley Wah-Wah and Marshall
Overdrive pedals. That's
right! No long list of toys or cheesy digital crap. Only a true Marshall
tube overdrive sound, unmatched tone and unbelievable power!
Tim's stage setup
consists of a '76 Fender P-Bass powered by 350 watt Hartke and 300 watt
Fender amps. And yes, Tim runs straight and pure through his amp. Nothing
in between. Just low frequency thunder.
B.L.`s stage setup
consists of a 7-piece kit. Mainly Tama with a couple of Pearl Toms and a
Premier Snare. B.L. also uses Zildjian cymbals with Sabian hi-hats,
Tama and DW hardware. Are those drums or war cannons I hear?
PA gear consists of...

16 channel PA board
4 different effects modules
2 four channel compressor/limiters
6 Peavey 15 inch woofer/titanium horn PA cabinets (4800 watts)
4 monitor cabinets
2 sub-woofer cabinets (2000 watts)

1 Thirty Band EQ with sub-low crossover
and enough cables, mics, stands and lights to start our own music store!
